North and South Puget Sound Belly Dance Classes

Melody, based in Marysville, Washington, offers ADC-North dance classes in the North Tulalip area. In her classes, students will master fundamental belly dance moves such as chest and hip slides, hip circles and drops, shimmies, and other isolations. Beyond the basics, dancers will learn the footwork needed to seamlessly blend these movements into a beautiful, flowing dance. In this supportive environment, you will discover your own self-expression with grace and confidence, both on and off the stage. ADC-North classes are held Thursdays at 7:00 pm. Nona, located in Tacoma, Washington, offers ADC-South dances classes at two venues in partnership with Pierce County Parks. Classes alternate in 6-week sessions: the first session covers belly dance fundamentals such as chest and hip slides, hip circles and drops, shimmies, and other isolations. In the second session, dancers learn a choreography culminating in a performance during the final class.
